The Old Railway Station is arguably one of the most photographed Old Railway Stations and B&Bs in England. As well as our guests who come to stay and take afternoon tea, taking a multitude of photographs, we also get many passers by asking if they can take photos - of both the station building and our five Pullman carriages.
We have therefore decided to open up the station to a photography workshop. This will allow keen photographers to take photos of the station, the carriages and all the rooms. There will also be an opportunity to photograph the local area including Coultershaw Heritage Site and Beam Pump and Amberly Museum.
In the evening there will be a talk by a local historian using his vast photo archive to show what Petworth and the surrounding area looked like in days gone by.
